Valitacell gets cash injection to transform how next-generation medicines are produced.
Early-stage biotech company Valitacell has won €2.02m in funding under the latest EU Horizon 2020 (H2020) round.
The funding, under the H2020 SME instrument Phase 2, will fund the advancement and commercialisation of Valitacell’s ChemStress technology for the next two years.

After a national campaign to find Ireland’s strongest mixologists with Havana Club Rum, Stephen Wynne of 37 Dawson Street won the campaign to travel to Cuba and represent Ireland at the Global Final of The Havana Club Grand Prix 2016- one of the World’s longest running cocktail competitions and now in its 22nd year. Stephen’s cocktail was called the “Paraiso Perez” named after a 19th century explorer, he presented it to an audience of national bartenders at the Chelsea Drug Store last night 20th April along with 2 other finalists. The drink includes 35.5mls Havana Especial 15 mls Apricot Brandy 10mls a sweetened Ruby Port ( red grape infusion ) 35.5mls Apple Juice (cloudy) 15mls fresh Lime juice
