Parishes Punch UP “The Rematch” took place in An Tochar GAA complex in Roundwood last Saturday 28th February night between the hosts An Tochar GAA and  Kilmacanogue GAA for what turned out to be another hugely successful night enjoyed by all present.

M.C. for the night was Jim McCabe of 4fm,TV3 & Setanta Sports fame. Jim’s professional hosting of the event added greatly to the enjoyment of all present.

Over the last number of months the boxers were expertly prepared by trainer Barry O’Toole, while on the night referee Darren O’Toole of the I.A.B.A. overseen proceedings with An Tochar’s very own Andrew Curley tending to boxers as ‘corner man’.Dr.Gráinne Ní Ghairbhí from Newtown Medical Practice was on hand for any medical emergencies but thankfully was not required.

By the end of the final bell of the night An Tochar had emerged victories on a score of 7-5 in the ring
